First and foremost, you must have a valid passport from an approved country. To be eligible for a visa, your passport must be valid for at least six months after your planned arrival in Taiwan.
Next, you will need to apply for a visa at the nearest Chinese embassy or consulate. The application process generally takes around five working days to complete.
Once your application has been processed, you will receive an approval letter which you should bring with you when applying for your visa at the Taiwanese Embassy or Consulate.
